After selecting the right material of house number plaque for your house along with its style, now you have to decide the look of this plaque. Make sure its layout matches the space and area where it needs to be placed. For example, very small plaque on a large lawn can hardly be seen. On the other side, a large plaque on a small space will look weird. Consider the following factors to determine the best plaque for your house.

Horizontal plaque–It is usually found in lawn and wide yards. It is suitable for wide background to give a glimpse of massiveness.

Vertical Plaque – It is best for narrow places like slim sidewalks and narrow hallways. If it is placed on poles or posts well, your small area may look cozy and save more space for a complete view of your property.

Border – According to your taste, preference and style of property, you may choose the border of house number plaque. Aluminum number plates come in plain and borderless styles. Intricate borders are used in Gregorian, Victorian and classic styles. Make sure border lines match with number’s color on plaque.

Numbers – Arabic and Roman are two different ways to print or engrave numbers of your house. Even though roman numbers are less popular in number plate designs in modern houses because of antiquity, they make block numbers better. For antique and unique touch, it is better to use roman numbers. Some homeowners also use Arabic numbers for their modern home.

Numbers of Lines–You have to simplify things to a great extent. Write the numbers in large font on one line style. Make sure to shorten the length and width of numbers if you want to add some texts. Be sure to get numbers ending only in two lines. Check Here for more details.
